Wake Forest vs. Duke - 1/28/17 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Coach K is reportedly not happy. More

Krzyzewski, who is recovering from back surgery, met with the team at his home on Tuesday, when he informed them that they've been kicked out of their locker room.

Only instead of having them run suicides or benching players performing poorly, Krzyzewski, who is now on a reprieve from his coaching duties while recovering from back surgery yet again, restricted them from donning any Duke apparel. The Blue Devils were in danger of yet another loss to a middle-of-the-pack instate rival after falling to North Carolina State five nights earlier, before Kennard took the game over down the stretch.

The loss to NC State, in which Duke blew a late lead, happened to be their first loss at home to the Wolfpack since 1995.

The Blue Devils are 2-3 with interim head coach Jeff Capel at the helm and have struggled to find any sense of consistency for much of the season.

"He wasn't happy", a source told ESPN, "especially after the loss to NC State".

Duke will play at Wake Forest on Saturday.

Oscars Website Accidentally Says Amy Adams, Tom Hanks Were Nominated, ABC Apologizes
As Melissa Silverstein put it on Twitter , "gets eight Oscar noms but the woman who held it together gets ignored". If it's any consolation, Adams isn't the first actress to see her winning moment escape her again and again.

The New York Daily News has some rough words for Duke's Coach K, considering he is 70 and has serious back problems, which have required surgery in the past, and he is still on leave for a recent surgery.

The Duke junior guard ran after a rebound that went long and bumped into Wake Forest guard Bryant Crawford in front of Duke's bench. Also averaging in double-figures for the Blue Devils are Grayson Allen (15.1 PPG; 4.4 RPG), Amile Jefferson (12.7 PPG; 9.9 RPG) and Frank Jackson (10.8 PPG).

Despite a bevy of elite freshmen, it's been an arduous league schedule so far for Duke.

Duke was expected to cruise through the 2016-17 season with a loaded roster and be one of the favorites to win the national title. Additionally, they will be banned from wearing team apparel around campus.

Without sophomore Luke Kennard, Duke isn't even in the game.
