Madonna gets go-ahead to adopt twins from Malawi

Madonna visited Malawi back in 2013 with children Lourdes Rocco David and Mercy

United States pop superstar Madonna felt "compelled" to adopt four-year-old twin girls from an orphanage in Malawi after hearing of their plight through her charity work, court papers revealed on Wednesday. "I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible". The 58-year-old is also mother to 20-year-old daughter Lourdes, from her relationship with trainer Carlos Leon, and son Rocco, 16, from her marriage to Guy Ritchie.

She is also the founding member of organization Raising Malawi, where she placed the foundation stone a decade ago.

"3 Beauties! Lola spends time with twins, Stella and Esther at Home of Hope Orphanage", the photo caption reads, along with emojis and the Malawi flag.

"The court is looking at the application now to determine whether Madonna can adopt these two children", Mvula said. "Within a year she should provide us with a home survey report, which the court has ordered her to provide", Mvula revealed one of the conditions of the adoption. You can feel the love she has for the children in her Instagram announcement. Then in 2009 she adopted a second Malawian child, a girl Mercy James, after she had split from the Snatch director.

US's aggressive rhetoric toward Iran escalates after missile launch
Mr Trump and his national security adviser Michael Flynn did not elaborate on what retaliatory actions the U.S. could pursue. Administration officials said they were not accusing Iran of violating the nuclear agreement with its recent missile test.

Madonna filed for the adoption of the two girls this year but later refuted claims that she was looking to expand her family.

At the time, Madonna said she was in the country to visit the children's hospital in the city of Blantyre as part of her work with her children's charity, Raising Malawi.

"Madonna is portraying Malawi as having a pool of poor children on the market for adoption", Mhango added.

"Madonna has been involved in so many projects and is now helping to expand the children's ward at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital".
