US, Russia Counter Erdogan in Syria as Fight Scrambles Allies
Binali Yildirim, speaking at a news conference in Ankara, said a risk of clashes would emerge if there was not full coordination. The SDF has controlled Manbij since previous year when it pushed out IS, but recently it has clashed with Turkish-backed forces.

The $65 billion U.S. trade deficit with Germany was "one of the most difficult" trade issues facing Mr Trump, he said, and bilateral discussions were needed to reduce it outside European Union restrictions.

The meeting with Merkel will also allow Trump to discuss peace efforts in Ukraine.

While Merkel is a firm believer in the European Union and globalisation, Trump cheers Britain's departure from the EU and scrapped the TPP free trade deal in his first days in office. Formerly worked with the German Council on Foreign Relations. A number of prominent German business leaders, including BMW CEO Harald Krüger and Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser, will join her on the trip to lobby against harsh tax hikes on German cars and moderate discussion on reducing America's $65 billion trade deficit with Germany. He once said what she did in Germany with refugees was "insane".

Merkel's March 14 visit to the White House-the first meeting for Trump and the longtime German leader-is set to be closely scrutinized amid disagreements on a range of policy issues, from Russian Federation policy to refugees.
