Curry Doubtful For Durant's Likely Return To Action

The golden State Warriors have announced that Kevin Durant is set to return to action on Saturday against the New Orleans Pelicans, as the regular season draws to a close, and the Warriors eye the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are on a 13-game winning streak as they have secured the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference Finals.

"[Friday] was one of those days where I went out there and played, and practiced with the guys and I felt normal", said Durant.

Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant was back at practice on Friday.

Coach Steve Kerr said Durant, who scrimmaged in a 5-on-5 situation, has no minute restrictions because his knee ligament is fully healed.

Kerr said he will monitor Durant's fatigue and feel during the upcoming games.

She incurred a two-shot penalty for the breach and another two-shot penalty for returning an incorrect scorecard. Thompson was visibly shaken when the ruling dropped her from 16 under to 12 under and one shot off the lead.

Quotable: "I've played basketball my whole life". That's my favorite thing to do, to play basketball. He was hurt in Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns and didn't practice on Friday.

Otherwise, Durant said he knew he could overcome the injury.

"It's flawless for him to get three games before the playoffs start to get his conditioning, his timing, his rhythm", Kerr said. However, he kept his sights on the bigger picture. "At some point, I would just have to throw myself in the fire". At 65-14, the team is now 4.5 games clear of the San Antonio Spurs, who are going to play as the No. 2 seed in the playoffs.

Still, it's hard to think they wouldn't welcome back the 25.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocked shots per game Durant brings to the floor.

However, two-time reigning MVP Stephen Curry is listed as doubtful to face the Pelicans on Saturday because of a bruised knee. I figured that at some point I would get better.

Warriors injury report: SF Kevin Durant (left knee injury) is probable.
