Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia tied for Masters lead heading into final round
AUGUSTA, Georgia Justin Rose was one of the last players to arrive at the U.S. Masters and on Saturday the Olympic champion gave himself a chance to be the last man standing when the winner's Green Jacket is awarded.
Sunday's final round will bring with it the kind of drama this tournament expects, with only one person winning, but likely a handful of golfers losing it.
Westwood, who finished second behind Danny Willett a year ago, carded six birdies and two bogeys in a 68 that set the early clubhouse target at one under par.
SPIETH SHOW Jordan Spieth (68) was two shots back and will be in the penultimate group today.
Sergio Garcia has a share of the lead after three rounds at the Masters. "I'll be able to tell you better tomorrow night if I think those missed opportunities have ruined my chances, but I just need to go out and play a good round of golf tomorrow".
"My best score here is 65", McIlroy said, "and I'm going to need something like that, if not lower, to have a chance". "But it would be nice to have a chance to do it". This is a golf course where you have to pick your moments. Last year, the Masters was won by Briton Danny Willett. He didn't make the cut this year.

"You have to be patient", Fowler said.
"I have playing some good golf and steady golf, I've been waiting for an extra gear and I seem to be finding it - hopefully I can keep trending this year the way I have been playing". But with that being said, even when you're playing conservative lines, you still have to execute. "It was exactly how you hope Augusta would play - blue skies, firm fairways and great greens".
Rose had the round of the day with a 5-under-par 67. He closed with hard, par-saving 7 footers on the 17th and 18th holes.
Garcia, who once complained the golf gods conspired against him when he lost a playoff in the 2012 British Open, had the gods on his side Saturday in Amen Corner.
It wasn't all great for everybody at Augusta on Saturday. And for those counting, he's gone 74 majors without a win. After a bogey at No. 6 and a birdie at No. 8, he came alive on the back nine with five birdies: Nos.
On 13, Garcia thought he put his second shot in the water that guards the green. Garcia made a chip and a putt for a birdie.
But maybe he's right when he says he has a better perspective on his heretofore unsuccessful quest to win a major championship. "Thirteen obviously was one of them".
Still, with all that talent at the top, the real favorite might be Spieth.
NOTEWORTHY No one has ever made a quadruple bogey and won the Masters.
After the second round, he was four back. His 68 was the second lowest round of the day, behind Rose's 67. Could Fowler over take the final pairing?
