Kim Jong-un condemns US strike in Syria

Reuters reported on Monday that Russian officials are losing hope for warming relations with the us, citing Trump's missile strike on a Syrian airbase, the massive bomb dropped on Afghanistan and the administration's refusal to halt sanctions related to Crimea. According to Bloomberg, the Kremlin's top TV guy Dmitry Kiselyov made this proclamation after calling President Donald Trump "just the kind of leader the world needed" a few weeks ago.

"The world is a hair's breadth from nuclear war", Kiselyov warned.

"I don't want to telegraph what I am doing or what I am thinking", he said.

Newsmax reports, "In the latest sign of the Kremlin's abrupt about-face on its erstwhile American hero, Kiselyov pronounced Trump "more dangerous" than his North Korean counterpart. They have been talking with this gentleman for a long time", he said, referring to North Korea leader Kim Jong Un.

"He (Kim Jong-Un) is after all on his home territory", said Kiselyov.

Kiselyov's address comes after a United States deployment of warships to North Korean waters in a show of force by Trump, reportedly amid growing tensions pertaining to yang's alleged nuclear program, according to The Telegraph News. He did acknowledge that Kiselyov's "position is close, but not every time". "He doesn't plan to attack anyone just for the sake of it", said Kiselyov, who was a cheerleader for state TV's strong anti-American tone under the Obama administration and once said Moscow could turn the United States into radioactive ash.

The Pentagon downplayed the incident but many foreign policy observers pointed to it as a Russian attempt to remind the president that it won't be bullied by the U.S.

Russian marines parade during the Navy Day celebrations in Sevastopol, Crimea, July 31, 2016. I hope things work out well.

"You look at different things over the years with President Obama", Trump added.

When asked in an interview set to air on "Fox & Friends" Tuesday if a pre-emptive military strike is a possibility, as reported last week by NBC News, Trump wouldn't elaborate.
