Facebook video murder suspect kills himself in Pa., police confirm

Facebook live murder suspect Steve Stephens kills himself after pursuit

Stephens killed himself in Pennsylvania on Tuesday as he was being chased by state troopers.

Police in Philadelphia say they have "no indication" that the suspect in an apparently random killing in Cleveland is in Philadelphia.

McDonald's staff tipped off police about the location of Facebook killer Steve Stephens after he ordered 20 Chicken McNuggets.

Although Facebook pulled the videos and suspended Stephens' account 23 minutes after they were first reported, Zuckerberg said Facebook could do better in quickly flagging and removing violent videos.

"In addition to encouraging Stephens to turn himself in, Debbie Godwin voiced her forgiveness, saying, "(Y) ou know what, I believe that God would give me the grace to even embrace this man.

"When I picked up the phone she was screaming", the daughter said.

Despite Legal Battles, Arkansas Could Still Execute 7 Inmates. But Should It?
Protesters started flooding the state capitol in Little Rock on Friday to urge Hutchinson to block the executions. He ran twice unsuccessfully for state Supreme Court - including a bid for chief justice in 2004.

On Monday evening, Facebook announced that it was launching a review for reporting harmful content following the killing.

Investigators say 37-year-old Stephens shot and killed 74-year-old Robert Godwin Sr. on Sunday then posted the gruesome video of the killing to Facebook.

Stephens posted the violent video of himself shooting Godwin to Facebook, and it took them almost 2 hours to find and remove the footage.

"She's the reason this is about to happen to you". "I wouldn't wish that on anybody". Other videos Stephens shared show him talking about his despair over gambling debts and trouble with his girlfriend. Stephens says the name of a woman, whom Godwin does not seem to recognize.

In several posts, he claimed to have killed as many as a dozen people, but police have not found evidence to support that claim.

Police later located him by a cellphone ping.

"I don't want that man to die, I want him brought to justice", one of his sons, Robby Miller, said.
