Nadal claims record-extending 10th Monte Carlo title

David Goffin beat Novak Djokovic for the first time in his career on his fifth match point, winning 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 to reach the Monte Carlo Masters semifinals on Friday.

The world number seven is eyeing to become the first man in Open era to win 10 tournament titles and has been dominant enroute to the title match in the ongoing tournament.

Rafael Nadal overcame Belgium's David Goffin in straight sets to reach the final of the Monte Carlo Masters.

He will be among the favorites at the French Open this year, which was the last of his 14 Grand Slam wins in 2014.

He has now amassed 50 clay titles during his career, to take sole ownership of the record on the red dirt with one trophy more than Guillermo Vilas.

Sunday marked Nadal's tenth Monte Carlo Masters triumph in 13 years.

"I'm just enjoying the moment because it's something hard to imagine, to win 10 titles in such an important event like Monte-Carlo".

NES Classic Edition To Be Discontinued Plus Stock Update
The recent update will be a big blow for folks who have yet to get hold of a Nintendo Mini NES Classic Edition . Nintendo is planning to come out with the SNES Mini, which is why the NES Classic Edition was discontinued .

As Nadal himself said though, he won't have much time to celebrate, as his bid for a matching 10th title in Barcelona, which just named their center court after him, starts on Wednesday.

With the sun out and temperature warm, the conditions for both matches were ideal for clay-court tennis on the idyllic center court perched above the glittering Mediterranean sea.

"Today I didn't win but for sure last Monday I didn't expect to be in the final against a great champion like Rafa", Ramos-Vinolas said. He failed to convert any of these but the break was inevitable next time around when Ramos-Vinolas served, as Nadal moved into a 3-1 lead after breaking at 15 in game 4.

Four years ago, it was a perplexed Nadal arguing with Mourier after he made an incorrect call during Nadal's third-round win against Russian Mikhail Youzhny at the Madrid Masters. "On Monday I was not expecting such a week, I don't know why it's happening now", said Ramos-Vinolas, who has only one ATP title to his name.

Ramos Vinolas took the first set when he broke the 11th-seeded Frenchman to love, concluding with a smash at the net.

Talking about the match after having lost it, Goffin said that he feels that with the passing time, his results are only getting better. "He was a little bit better in everything".

Having saved two championship points, courtesy of Nadal errors, Ramos-Vinolas then hit a double fault on Nadal's third championship point to confirm victory for the fourth seed. To be honest, I think he served really good today.
