More bugs may be released: Hacking group

The ransomware Attack was because of the existing Windows XP systems throughout the world which had been announced unsupported by Microsoft after 2014.

Seemingly capitalizing on the success of WannaCry ransomware, which used EternalBlue and DoublePulsar - tools developed by the NSA's Equation Group - the Shadow Brokers want to sell new exploits every month to people who pay a membership fee. Microsoft has connected previous exploits of its products released by the mysterious Shadow Brokers group to tools which were stolen from NSA cyber warfare operations.

National security journalist Marcy Wheeler has suggested that Shadow Brokers' recent claims of a new Windows 10 exploit might be a deliberate attempt to inflame tensions between Microsoft and the U.S. government.

The hacking group dubbed its new monthly subscription model "TheShadowBrokers Data Dump of the Month;" the service kicks off in June.

Given that the Wannacry attack has already proven the potency of the materials in their possession, it is rather alarming to consider what could be contained in their next set of leaks, especially if they actually have information regarding the nuclear programs of countries. "Is being like wine of month club", its post states; Blue Apron for malware. The Shadow Brokers claim not to care what Data Dump of the Month service members do with the exploits.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's look for Cannes 2017 red carpet is out and the former beauty queen looks mesmerising. With her tresses left open, she looked exquisite as she exuded confidence and elan in her one-shoulder floor-sweeping dress.

As a quick refresher, a hacking group known as the Shadow Brokers released a treasure trove of NSA exploits and hacking tools just a few weeks ago.

Shadowbrokers are also claiming that they have very important information of nuclear and missile program of the countries like Russia, China, Iran and North Korea. As is to be expected, the group notes that what members do with the exploits is completely up to them. On Monday night, the group-which so far has made good on most of the threats it has foreshadowed-published a new dispatch that claimed to possess 75 percent of the NSA arsenal. They released NSA's hacking tools which was the main reason behind those attacks.

In December, Shadow Brokers cancelled its auction and offered to sell the exploits. The NSA has not commented on Shadow Brokers since the group emerged a year ago, or on the contents of past leaks or Friday's ransomware attack.

Given the strong links between the Kremlin and the Shadow Brokers, the latter claim may simply be a hoax, created to keep observers guessing as to the group's origins.

"Repeatedly, exploits in the hands of governments have leaked into the public domain and caused widespread damage." - said Microsoft's Brad Smith - "An equivalent scenario with conventional weapons would be the USA military having some of its Tomahawk missiles stolen".
