Empty NYC transit bus rolls down street, hits church, cars

The MTA bus crashed into at least ten parked cars before it finally came to a stop after it hit a church

An empty bus rolled down a New York City block, striking several parked cars before crashing to a stop in front of a church. New York's PIX 11 news reports the bus hit at least six cars and caused thousands of dollars in damage.

St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church suffered only superficial damages, but the van, which belonged to Iglesia Pentecostal Church across the street, "is damaged completely", according to Rev. Jose Quintana. Take a look here: "There was another auto that was parked on the corner", witness Khushbu Patel said.

"I was standing on the corner of Palmetto and Knickerbocker when I see the bus coming back", witness Raul Reyes said. We were like, God stopped it. That man ended up getting hurt.

Draymond Green cracks LeBron James bald joke on Instagram
Russell Westbrook , who is famously not a huge fan of the Warriors, appears to have liked LeBron's post playfully dissing Green. The Warriors' 2017 championship parade took place on Thursday, and Green jabbed the Cavs with sly sartorial choice.

A pedestrian was injured and was taken to Wyckoff Hospital for treatment. He was not struck by the bus. "This is a very young bus operator who was on the job only three days", said JP Patafio, a vice president at Transit Workers Union Local 100. "She is obviously very, very upset, and we are going to assist her".

The driver mistakenly left the hulking transport in neutral and stepped off the bus, leaving it to roll out-of-control and down Palmetto Ave., cops said.
